About me

Hello everyone!

My name is Andrea Casadio, and I grew up drawing cars and playing with LEGO Technic.

While working as a mechanical engineer for an automotive OEM, I dedicated my spare time to 3D printing. I started in 2018 with small projects, and during the pandemic, I decided to share my builds with the community.

Over the past four years, I have designed more than 5,000 mechanical parts, carried out extensive testing, and collected a huge amount of feedback from the community. Every single part is designed with passion and dedication, with a lot of thought going into making sure that all the components can be printed at home using common FDM 3D printers.

The original idea was to create shelf models, but I decided to take on the challenge of turning them into RC vehicles, with some surprisingly good results. I am proud to say that, together, all the models around the world have covered an estimated total mileage of more than 8,000 kilometers!

That said, my goal is not to design over-engineered vehicles built purely for bashing. All my models are designed to be driven in the most realistic way possible. Trust me, this makes the whole experience even more exciting.

In 2025, my brothers Davide and Giulio started supporting me with the apps and this website, with the goal of improving the overall user experience around the projects.

This is still not my full-time job, but I truly enjoy doing it, and I am incredibly grateful for your constant support and motivation.
